As each country is unique, our methodology is to tailor our approach to the needs of each country, using our international experience.
Our approach is based on risk management. For regulators, we therefore fully subscribe to the risk-based supervision approach. For industry, we also strongly encourage a risk management approach. We believe in a collaborative style, bringing together the industry and the regulators in developing the industry.
Typically, donor organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and FIRST engages the services of OFS as part of a strategy to assist emerging nations. Where we do not have a conflict of interest, we also assist private enterprise, advising in respect of financial services/ insurance operations in emerging nations.
